New Pearl Harbor Exhibit is Open!

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Broomfield Veterans Museum has opened a new temporary exhibit exploring the people and history of the event that tipped the United States into World War II. Chock full of artifacts, stories, and Colorado connections, this exhibit is a “must-see” this winter. The exhibit is open every day that the Museum is open.

Frontier Forts to the Fields of France

Stop by to see a very special exhibit about Michael J. Lenihan.  His career started heading west to the open western frontier after West Point and then continued through both the Spanish American War and WWI.  His family and descendants kept wonderful biographies of his life and service and we are proud to honor such a dedicated and courageous Veteran.  Please come check it out!

Special Exhibit

Visit the museum soon to see a special exhibit about a Pearl Harbor Survivor, Albert “Pete” Peterson.  He was on the U.S.S. West Virginia and lived to tell his heroic story.  His daughter now honors him through this display showing his time in Hawaii and his life afterward.  We put the exhibit up for Dec 7th and will be taking it down next month, come see it before its gone!
