Curator (contract) position for the Veterans Museum now accepting applications!


Job Description Brief:


This part-time Curator contracted position consists of a variety of routine and complex collections work in support of the Broomfield Veterans Museum under the direction of the Museum’s Executive Committee.  The Curator prepares and implements plans, policies, procedures, and activities to ensure the proper registration, preservation, and conservation of collected objects.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to cataloging, photographing, numbering, handling, packing, and housing artifacts.  The Curator will schedule, train, and manage volunteers who support the collection cataloging and preservation process.  The Curator will act as the agent for the Museum in the accessioning, de-accessioning, and loan of artifacts, as approved by the BVM Collection Committee. 

Pay Range and Hours: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour, up to 16 hours per week. Preference for work days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays. Some remote work allowed.
